Frances Louise Wendel
Hilton Head-Frances Louise Wendel, 91, died Tuesday, August 22, 2006 at her residence.
Born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, she was daughter of the late Dwight R. and Edith Ferguson Davis. She was a long time resident of Tide Point on Hilton Head Island. She was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Wendel and her brother, Earl Davis.
Surviving are one daughter, Christine Wendel of Santa Fe, New Mexico; sons, William Hall Wendel and Jeffrey Wendel both of Minnesota; three grandchildren; one great grandson; three brothers, Dwight R. Davis, Jr. and wife Jean and Lynn W. Davis and wife Hazel all of Savannah, and Ronald F. Davis and wife Iris of San Antonio, Texas. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
Memorial services will be held at a later date in Johnstown, Pennsylvania.
